One of the most eagerly anticipated projects in Sunny Isles Beach is the Ritz-Carlton Residences.  Announced earlier this year, the project breaks from the hotel or condo-hotel tradition and instead presents itself as an ultra-luxury condominium with its services provided by none other than the illustrious and highly respected Ritz-Carlton brand.  Set to be built on Collins Avenue, the 51-story project will take up two lots and will have a little more than 200 units.

Although the Ritz-Carlton has yet to be built and isn’t expected to open until 2017, the anticipation and demand for the project is high.  A wealthy buyer has already snapped up the penthouse located on the 51st floor, which is actually a combination of two units.  The penthouse boasts over 7,700 square feet of living area and will have five bedrooms plus 6.5 bathrooms.  There will also be a terrace with a summer kitchen, infinity edge pool, and a private garden.

Some of the amenities Ritz-Carlton Residences is expected to have include more than 250 linear feet of beachfront, a resort-style pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, guest suites available as short term rentals, a restaurant and lounge available exclusively to residents, a club for children and teenagers, plus much more.
